Weekly Weigh In

Okay, I did my weigh in this morning. I had decided on Sunday that if I still hadn't lost weight that I would take Weight Watchers advice and switch for a week or two to the Core Plan as opposed to the Flex Plan. I lost 1.5 pounds this week. I'm not sure how I did it though. I ate a lot more fruit and vegetables. I also used nearly all my weekly points. I also only worked out twice this week. So I really don't know who I wound up losing weight. I'm happy I did I'm just trying to figure out how I did. Any thoughts or ideas, let me know. My best thought is I didn't eat enough the week before last. If you have any suggestions or ideas leave me a comment.

Micki,
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! Way to go on the loss.

I have had some of the same problems. I work out like crazy for a week just to step on the scales and see a big goose egg. Certainly not eating enough could be one reason. Another could be water retention. I read one of JM's posts about hard workouts. She said that if you don't see the scale move after a week of hard workouts, it could be that your body is retaining water. Since you are doing the points plan, if you are not at your points for the day, try eating a tablespoon of reduced fat peanut butter. That will probably put you within your point range and will also give you some good fats as well as protein.
